the island adventures

i went on a mini surfing safari last weekend.. the weather was perfect!! went with a freind and they got me hooked up with a big board and a wettie and we headed to berrys beach which was deserted so at least there was no one to laugh at me!
i got in expecting to be freezing and it wasnt!! was so refreshing.. anyways with a bit of help i got up after a few tries.. only took me about 20 mins, considering it was my second attempt ever, i didnt do too bad! unfortunately there is no photographic evidence of me on the board as i was with a non-spontaneous non- photographic person..so here are a few that i managed to get! was sooo nice to get out of the city too :)
