when i found out krafty kuts was comin to town i got the gang together around at my place for some drinking games and we all got a bit carried away, i think mostly me tho! was an awesome night, so check out some of the fun we had!

thanksgiving

thanksgiving was awesome, it was a turkey overload as i had 2 thanksgiving dinners, onw with my family upstairs and the other with freinds from work.. lots of games and shenannigans got invloved!!

drinking games got very serious, and bigger, we eneded up building a tower to the roof!!!

headed into the village on thanksgiving eve.. found a snowman on the way..

uhh silly ideas as a result of eating too much turkey with work buddies...

vancouver island

so one saturday night me and a freind had a bit too much to drink and thought it would be a great idea to go to the island for an adventure, since i had 3 days off work, so we followed through with the plan and headed off the next day.. so here are a few of the pics, i know there are lots but the island was so pretty, and u know me i take lots of pics, anyways enjoy!!

this is a pretty picture in a pretty little town called uculet, which is near tofino

came across a sign that said Mclean mill, so had to go check it out, and ended up getting a tour of the whole thing that was run from the 20s-60s, was all about the logging industry, was actually pretty educational. so this is me on the train platform waiting for some freinds to come...

SNOW RIDING!!!! it was sooo f@#%ing cold but it had to be done, it was about -7 aparently, and i was not prepared, i was only in my normal riding gear

this is the result of riding in the snow, i was in soo much pain, my fingers were that numb they hurt and could not feel the brakes going down a steep fire road, bit sketchy!

yes it is possible to ride in the gondola, we tried it and managed to crash more in there than on the hill..??

yay i managed a podium at the BC /Canada cup, i was holding onto my medal and the chick hated me so much for coming second she tried to choke me!haha kidding , i just wasnt ready when she grabbed my arm and this is the only decent pic i have to prove that i came second! also it was my birthday so pretty fun weekend!

vancouver island

one saturday night, me and a freind had a few too many drinks and decided it would be a great idea to go on an adventure to vancouver island as i had 3 days off and didnt want to waste them.we followed through with the idea and headed off on sunday afternoon and caught the ferry to naniamo on the island. it took about 3 hrs from whistler including the ferry trip. the ferry was aweseome and saw a beautiful sunset, no whales tho!

we went straight to tofino on the sunday night and woke up on the beach. it was a cute little bach town, which is famous for surfing. did some tourist stuff and slowly headed south toward victoria which is the capital of BC.Saw some pretty cool things along the way, even a place called Mclean mill, so naturally had to go check it out, and it was an old saw mill that they had done up and did tours of. old mate frank took us on a tour and suprisingly it was very interesting. he told us all about the logging industry etc.

then then headed to some beaches and lakes along the way untill we ended up near victoria and stayed in a rainforest which was really pretty.

victoria was pretty too, saw some old buildings and parliament house.we didnt get to spend much time in victoria as we had to get back to whistler and work.boo.

but had a really good time, great adventures and now i can tick vancouver island off the list!!
